After a long and fulfilling life. Loving wife to Howard and mother to Aaron and Heather, Elise and Jason Tanny, and Jonathan and Alysa. Caring grandmother to David, Amy, Emily and Rebecca Levinoff, Abigail and Leora Tanny and Isaac, Sarah, Naomi and Ari Levinoff. Sister of Ken and Susan Schelberg and sister-in-law of Sherryn and Paul Roth, and Anne and Hugh Kestenbaum. Predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Albert Schelberg. Elaine was a true Eishet Chayil, a woman of valour. She was a role model and inspiration to all her family, friends, her community and the hundreds of students she mentored throughout the years. Special thanks to Dr. Anthony Joshua, Dr. David Hogg and Dr. Sam Saibil for their compassion and support over the past fourteen years.
