Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Claudette Massia of Alexandria ON; age 87 years. Loving mother of Helen (Douglas Sova) of Glen Roy, Jacqueline (Jacques Bourdon) of Cornwall, Annette (Kenny MacLeod) of Dunvegan and Roch (Irene) of Alexandria, cherished grandmother to Julie, Joanne, Pierre, Martine, Emilie, Amy, Melissa, Allison, Rebecca, Ryan and adoring great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Rejeanne (late Fernand Cote) of Montreal, Liliane (Zoel Duval) of Dunvegan and Annette (late Paul Sauve) of Alexandria Claudette was pre-deceased by her late husband Charles-Emile Massia, her parents Alfred Lalonde and Lucienne (nee Langlois), her siblings Rejeanne (late Fernand Cote) and Pierre-Paul Lalonde (Jocelyne Lebrun). In keeping with Claudette’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Munro and Morris Funeral Home in Alexandria, 114 Main St. S, K0C 1A0. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 9:00 am to the time of the service. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Homes, 114 Main St. South, Alexandria, ON, (613)525-2772.
