In Loving Memory of William “Bill” Hogg
Bill passed away unexpectedly at his home in Minden, Ontario on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the age of 65.
Loving father of Matt (Trish) and Corinne (Vanessa). Devoted papa to his grandson Kolby. Beloved son of the late Leslie and Lorna Hogg of Minden. Dear brother of Valerie (Brian), Susan (Warren) and Brian «Bing». Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Survived by the mother of his children, Cindy McNabb.
Bill dedicated 25 years of his life to The Minden Hills Fire Department. And served as Chief for 10 years. Protecting the community, he loved the most.
Bill loved watching his grandson Kolby play hockey. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his kids. He was also a huge animal lover.
He will be missed dearly and fondly remembered by those who knew him.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Bill’s life will be held this summer.
Memorial Donations to the Minden Firefighters Association (Cheque Only) or the Minden Food Bank would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
