Heaven gained another angel on February 17, 2024 as Sharon Budgell left
behind her earthly home for a far better place. Born on December 9,
1957 in Deer Lake NL to Bronson and Beryl Williams. Sharon spent
her childhood years in Deer lake until she met the love of her life and
husband of 48 years, Calvin Budgell. Sharon was a beacon of
gratitude, positivity, and unconditional love, leaving behind a tapestry of
cherished memories and a legacy of kindness that will endure for
generations to come.
Sharon’s life was a testament to the transformative power of love and
compassion. From an early age, she radiated warmth and positivity,
touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sharon’s unwavering spirit of gratitude infused every aspect of her life.
She approached each day with a heart full of appreciation, finding joy in
life’s simplest pleasures and spreading warmth wherever she went. Her
infectious optimism uplifted those around her, serving as a guiding light
even in the darkest of times.
Above all, Sharon’s love knew no bounds. She embraced each person she
met with open arms, offering kindness, empathy, and support without
hesitation. Her capacity for unconditional love was limitless, and she
cherished her role as a caregiver, nurturing and uplifting those in need
with boundless compassion.
One of Sharon’s greatest joys was found in the beauty of the outdoors. She
would often sit in nature and give thanks to God for the brooks, the
creatures great and small and every tree and plant in between. She saw
God in all things, could see his love and splendor all around and always
gave gratitude for it.
Spending time at her cottage at Bonne Bay Big Pond was one of her
greatest joys where the tea and snacks were always in abundance
and the door was open to everyone from far and wide. Whether she
was exploring the tranquility of nature on hiking trails or basking in the
serenity of a sunrise, she found solace and inspiration in the world around
her. Her love for the outdoors was surpassed only by her devotion to her
family.
Sharon’s family was the center of her universe, and she poured her heart
and soul into nurturing those she held dear. Her love for her family knew
no bounds, she would stand by every family member for whatever they
needed, be it in times of joy, struggle or sorrow, she would quickly and
without question be there at any time. Sharon treasured each moment.
spent creating memories and building lasting bonds. Her home was a
sanctuary of love and laughter, filled with the warmth of her affection and
the echoes of shared joy.
In Sharon’s memory, let us strive to embody the qualities she held dear:
gratitude, positivity, unconditional love, and a deep reverence for the
beauty of the world that God gave us. Though she may no longer walk
among us, her spirit will continue to guide us, illuminating our paths with
its eternal light.
Sharon will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her,
but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she
touched.
