It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing after a short battle with cancer on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid “Pit” Roy (2016). She leaves behind her sons Peter (Zellie) and Shawn (Rose). Nana will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Brandan (Jess), Chanelle (Winston), Eric (Sharon), and Maria (Edward) as well as by her great-grandchildren Baby Rose, August, Elly, Tyson and Adelynn. She leaves behind her sisters Annette and Jeanine and her very special niece Chandra.
She is predeceased by her parents, Florian and Jeanne, along with her sisters Flo and Yvette.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the LaSalle Residence for the excellent care and compassion, along with Liz from Bayshore and the nurses on the surgical floor and the hospice department at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
