Obituary for
Betty Jane Harding
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Jane Harding, age 80 years, of Sandyville, NL, on January 24th, 2024, at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Winsdor.
Betty leaves to mourn her loving family: devoted husband, Lloyd, of 58 years; daughter, Wanda, of Beaumont, Texas, USA; son, Barry (Carmee) of Chilliwack, BC; grandchildren, Bailee, of Santa Fe, California, USA and Zachary, of Langley, BC, whom she loved and adored beyond measure; special friends, Claudine Hill and Mildred Harris, whom she lovingly called ‘her sisters’; sisters in law, Mona Fudge of Harbour Breton and Hazel Harding of Eastern Passage, NS; brother in law, Ralph Harding of Dartmouth, NS; special nephew, Don Fudge (Mary) of Harbour Breton; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Betty was a proud Pass Islander her entire life. She loved music, journalling, her children and a game of 500 Spades or Dice. She was always full of laughter with a kind and giving heart for everyone.
Family and friends meant everything to Betty and she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew her.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, Jessy and Jenny Fudge; brother, Freeman Fudge; sisters in law, Phoebe Strowbridge, Maude Mullins and Dorothy Harding; brothers in law, George Harding, Eric Harding and John Strowbridge.
Visitations and Funeral Service will be announced.
Flowers in Betty’s memory will be graciously accepted and greatly appreciated.
«Her Life was a blessing, Her memory a treasure, You are loved beyond words And missed beyond measure.»
