It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cedomir, on January 21st, 2024, at home, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Svetlana for 36 years. Devoted father of Danilo and Mihailo. Tolerated by his daughters-in-law Christina and Sierra. Adored grandfather of Sofia, Mirjana, Aleksandros and Lea. Dear brother of Branka (Zdravko). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cedomir was a one of a kind husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Born in Slavonska Pozega, Yugoslavia in 1967 to Father Jovan and Mother Ljubica. He met the love of his life, Svetlana, when he was only sixteen years of age and stayed by her side until his final moment. Cedomir and Svetlana emigrated to Canada in 1995 from the Former Yugoslavia with their two sons, Danilo and Mihailo. Cedomir instilled a sense of positivity, honesty, morality, and family values in his sons. He brought a light-hearted approach to any and every scenario, his charm and whit brought laughter to ever room he entered. He taught us to see the positive in every situation, often saying “who knows why this is good” even in the worst of times. He was immensely proud of his sons and adored being surrounded by his grandchildren. His absence will be felt in innumerable ways, and he will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Wednesday January 24th, 2024, between 6pm and 9pm. A service to celebrate the life of Cedomir, will be held at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church on Thursday January 25th, 2024, at 11am, with burial at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery to follow.
