Robert «Bob» Marriott Obituary
Robert John Marriott, age 77, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on January 12, 2024. Born in Stratford, son of the late William and Olive Marriott.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Linda (Houghton) March 14, 2002. Loving father of Jennifer Clarke (Jason), Jillian Siebert (Scott). Grandfather of Neely (Rylan), Ewan and Nathan. Brother of Bruce Marriott (Hilda) and brother-in-law of Bill Houghton (Betty), Robbie Adams (Russ), Debbie Jones (Bob), Lori Houghton and Jackie Berger.
Predeceased by sister-in-law Dianne Minshall, brother-in-law Ralph Berger and nephew Steve Houghton.
Bob retired as a Lieutenant with the Stratford Fire Department and was an electrician by trade.
A family graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
