Suddenly, at home on January 7, 2024, in his 79th year, John Neal Birch passed away. Survived by his devoted wife Laurie, loving son Neil John Dale Birch and grandson Hiro Daniel. Predeceased by son Paul in 2009. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends in England, the USA and Canada. Born in Aylesbury, England, John came to Canada in March of 1967. John was an exceptionally talented cabinetmaker by trade, working his craft in a variety of woodworking shops as well as the boat building industry, including C and C Yachts and Saga Marine.
According to John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. For those who wish, a memorial donation made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
