Peacefully, at home in Port Hope, in his 80th year, with his loving wife and best friend, Carolyn, by his side, finally free after a five-year long battle with the rare neurological disease, progressive supranuclear palsy. Loving father of sons Christopher (Rob) and Justin, daughter Laura (Steve) and late son David.
Bob was a kind and caring man, always willing to help others. He was a hard worker who did whatever he could to take care of his family, whom he loved so very dearly. He loved to travel and spend time with his kids and was a stay-at-home dad to his two younger boys for many years. We are so grateful we got to see the world and experience so much together in these past 38 years. He will be dearly missed, and those memories will be cherished forever. Rest in peace my love.
Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no service, and a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Rossy Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Centre in Toronto, the first clinic of its kind in Canada, would be greatly appreciated.
