With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dennis “Denny” Gary Moffatt on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the age of 76 years.
Predeceased by his wife, Shanne-Lee; parents, Cassell and Elsie; brothers, Fred and Ken; as well as nephews, Cassell Nightingale, Barry, and Richard Moffatt.
Denny is survived by his fiancé, Charlene; his children, Gary (Pam), Sherri (Sean Farr) and Marcee; brother George; sisters Darlene (Blair) Claybourne, and Marjorie Casavant; sister-in-law Darlene Moffatt; as well as seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He will be missed by Rhonda (Cory), Candice Rogalski, Anne Herperger, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Denny enjoyed a good round of golf with Mike and friends, he liked cars, backgammon, card games and breakfast with friends.
Denny was in the Canadian Army (Reserve), he also worked at IPSCO, Weston Bakery, Home Depot, as a commissioner and in construction. He enjoyed travelling to warm and sunny places and had a great love for his friends, family, fur animals and Mr. Bubblehead.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, the Regina Humane Society, RM of Sherwood, 79 Armour Rd, or Grace Hospice at the William Booth Special Care Home, 50 Angus Rd, Regina.
The family would like to extend thanks to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic and special thanks to Grace Hospice for the compassionate care they gave Denny.
Funeral Service will take place at Holy Child Parish, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be recorded.
