OSBORNE, Susan “Sue” Roberta – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Susan “Sue” Roberta Osborne (née Bedford), 59, on Monday, January 1st, 2024, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay Ontario.
Sue is survived by her husband Ron, together for 40 years; her beloved children Kyle, Megan Raines (Jeremy), and Scott; her grandchildren Lincoln, and Lucas; dear sister Margaret Bedford; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Robert Bedford and Isabel Curphey (Art).
Kind, glowing, hardworking, and passionate are just a few words to describe her as a Wife, Mom, Grandmother, Nurse and Friend. Sue was the most caring and supportive wife to Ron. She was a proud Mom of her three beautiful children and devoted all of her efforts in providing them with a lifetime full of happiness and love; and cherished every beautiful moment she had with her two young grandsons. She loved spending time vacationing with her husband and children on a beach, watching Nascar races, or simply sitting on the back patio with a margarita listening to country music. From having a green thumb for gardening, a magic touch for Christmas and home decorating, she always found ways to express her creativity and stay busy, but she always made time for regular girl’s nights. Sue approached life with warmth, care, and dedication, leading her to a career of 31 years as a Nurse at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. We are deeply saddened by this loss, but her love and light will live on in her family.
A visitation will be held at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay, Ontario on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, from 1:00-3:00pm. In keeping with Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
If desired, a memorial donation may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation in Sue’s name.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their care, support, and compassion.
