HURAS, Diana Lynn
Born on January 10, 1945, in Kitchener, Ontario, Diana Lynn Huras (Gehl) passed away peacefully just one week shy of her 79th birthday, on January 3, 2024, at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener.
Mother to Colleen, Brent, Jennifer, and son-in-law Gary. Diana is survived by her brothers David Gehl, Stephen Gehl, sisters Ruth Ann Vlasic and Suzanne Keir as well as by her many nieces and nephews. Diana is predeceased by her husband Ronald Huras, father and mother John and Mildred (Querin) Gehl and brothers Gilbert Gehl and Douglas Gehl.
At Diana’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service.
Those wishing to donate in Diana’s memory may make donations to Rheumatoid Arthritis or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

~ I feel unhappy, I feel sad, I’ve lost the best friend that I ever had. She was mu Momma, I loved her so.. but it’s too late now, I have to let her go.
We shared all of my years, we shared each day, near or far, we found a way. Now that life had it’s evil way.. my heart is broken and gone astray.
It took so long to realise, and I can still hear your last goodbye. Now all my days are filled with memories and tears.. only wishing that I could go back and change some of your years.~
