It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Carmine Lepore, on December 30, 2023, in Burnaby Hospital at the age of 96.
He was born on October 22, 1927, in Montefredane, Province of Avellino, Italy, and was predeceased by his first wife, Olga Lepore (Aquino), his parents Pasquale and Giuseppina Lepore, brothers Armando and Antonio, sisters Maria and Lucia and survived by his second wife, Carolina Lepore (Freda). Carmine/Dad/Nonno will be forever loved and adoringly remembered by his children; Angelo (Maria), Lorenzo (Judith), Dolores (Brent), and Osvaldo (Victoria), grandchildren; Chris (Ivy), Marcia, Adam, Vanessa (Devid), Taylor, Nicole (Russell), Luca and Lina, great-grandchildren; Jade, Jasmine, Aiza, Dante, Cassandra and Lily, sisters; Carmella Rossi and Ida Liguori, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Family meant everything to our beloved father and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. His unwavering love and presence will be greatly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 525 South Slocan Avenue on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Vancouver Heart and Stroke Foundation.”
