Adoring “Papa” of Amy and Harrison Minz, Lesley Sherman; Tyler, Ethan, and Owen Godel; Stephanie and Ari Brandwein, Lauren, and Amanda Bergman; Jason, Alyssa, and Maya Bergman. Loving ‘Great-Papa’ to Ahuva, Yocheved, Yisroel and Malcolm. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Morris (Nassie) and Raylene Godel, Deanna and Sydney z”l Godel, and brother-in-law of Bonnie Swartz Wener and Stephen z”l Wener. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 2 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva in Montreal Tuesday following burial until 9:00 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott Midtown, 6787 Décarie Blvd., continuing in Toronto at 144 Rodeo Drive, Thornhill on Thursday, January 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and at 132 Waterloo Avenue, North York on Sunday, January 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
