It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Viateur Secours of Ottawa, born in St. Isidore, Ontario, surrounded by his family, on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Jeannette Lamoureux. Son of the late Louis Secours and the late Clorisa Léger. Loving father of Ginette (Michel Portal), Nicole (Frank Guay) and Françoise (Louis Boucher). Dear grandfather of Alexandre Emard (Éloïse Laflèche) and Patrick Emard (Marie-Soleil Gagné) and great-grandfather of Zachary Emard. Also survived by his sister-in-law Marie-Andrée Lamoureux (late Jean-Claude Vallée), many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sisters, Cécile (late Jean Lalonde), Jeanne-D’Arc (late Tony Korbiser) and Colombe (late Harry Morritt), one brother Jean-Louis (late Claudette Lalonde) and one brother-in-law Guy Lamoureux (Rachel Parent).
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
A heartfelt thank you to the health and administrative staff of the Riverpath Retirement Community, for the excellent care provided to Viateur and their exceptional compassion. The family would also like thank Dr. Ruth Farey, his family doctor, for her dedication and support.
