Kyria-Lynn Anna Mary Purdy passed away suddenly in Owen Sound on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 at the age of 17.
Cherished daughter of Sheryl-lynn MacDonald, partner Korey Orson of Owen Sound and Steven Purdy, partner Shannon Sharp of Cambridge. Loving sister of Brooklynn Purdy and Sydney Orson. Beloved granddaughter of Charlie MacDonald, Elaine Purdy, John and Donna Bennett. Forever loved great-granddaughter of Kay Kelly. Kyria-Lynn will be fondly remembered and missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and teachers. Predeceased by grandparents Ronald MacDonald, Michael Purdy and Marilyn MacDonald.
Kyria loved music, especially playing the guitar. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and drawing. She was a social butterfly and loving being with people. Kyria loved the colour purple.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Francis Hubilla officiating.
