1940-2023
Robert «Bob» Lutes, 83, of Fundy Royal Manor passed
away peacefully at the home with his family by his side. Bob
was born in Moncton on July 1, 1940 the son of Guy and Florence
(Alward) Lutes.
He worked as a truck driver for most of his life.
He loved driving trucks and had many stories about
his escapades. He did mechanic work and could make a truck
last a long time. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed
many laughs with family and friends, he always had a story or joke to
share. He lived his life carefree and made the most of what
he had. He was always in good spirits, even when his health
began deteriorating. He had several struggles over the years
but he faced it with courage and love, and he never let it
overcome him. He will be remembered for
his great smile and his well known phrase «I’m
alright, the worlds all wrong»
He will be deeply missed by his good friend Catherine, his
daughters, Shelly Power (Edward) of Shenstone and Catheline Walsh
(Matt) of Shenstone; son Ralph «Ed» Lutes (Char) of
Hillsborough; his 6 treasured grandchildren; Amanda (Phil), Samantha
(Joey), Lindsay (Dylan), Jessica, Jeremy & Brett and 8
precious great-grandchildren Hailey, Hunter, Zoey, Skyler, Deacon,
Alyssa, Sydney & Daxton, brother Ralph Lutes (Dorothy) of BC
and brother-in-law, Charles Nickerson of Shenstone. He will
also be missed by three very special nieces, Monica, Cindy &
Tracy, as well as several other nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his
common-law partner, Martha Steeves, sisters, Joyce Simpson and
Virginia McKenna; brothers, Clarence McKenna and Earl McKenna, as well
as his son in law Charles «Chuck» Van
hook
There will be a Celebration of his life at the Albert County
Funeral Home to be announced at a later date.
Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be
greatly appreciated by the family.
