Gordon Madill
Madill, Gordon James – Age 89, Little Bass River, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 14, 2023, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Gord was born on December 10, 1933, in Mount Dennis, a neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario.
He married Martha “Joan” Adair in 1963 and they moved to the country, outside Newmarket, where they built a cedar log home and had two children, Mitchell, and Janice. Sadly, Joan passed away in the winter of 1972.
Gord worked at Kodak Canada for 32 years. He retired and became a car jockey for a Porsche dealer. He and his second wife, Beryl, whom he had married in 1983, eventually retired to Penetanguishene where they lived until her passing in 2018. Gord, his children and grandson, Spencer, then moved to Nova Scotia for his remaining years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Adair); second wife, Beryl (Spittle); mother, Jeanne; father, George; brothers, Reg, and George Jr.
Gord is survived by sister, Dora; children, Mitch, and Janice (Glenn); grandson, Spencer (Nicole); niece, Louise (David). Grandpa Gord will be missed by Destiny, Rob, Ashley, their spouses, and many great grandchildren.

Dad loved to garden. In lieu of donations, please consider planting a tree, spending time in nature, watching the birds, supporting the local gardening club, or teaching kids to grow vegetables.
