Unexpectedly but peacefully at her home on Friday November 10, 2023 at the age of 88. Deanie (née) Massey, beloved wife of the late William “Sonny” Henshaw. Much loved mother of Bill Henshaw, Peggy Jeroy (Bill) and Peter Henshaw (Charlene). Cherished grandmother of Sara (Terry), Aja (Chris) BJ (Katie), Josh (Lindsay) Samuelle and Alea. Great grandmother of Hayley, Abigail, Maizy, Seth, Hayden and Aida. Predeceased by 2 brothers Tom and Junior Massey and by 1 sister Harriet Mayhew. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Private family graveside service will be held at the Gananoque Cemetery. A Celebration of Deanie’s Life will be held at the Gananoque Legion on Friday November 17th at 4:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 92 or to the Gananoque and District Humane Society.
