On November 7, 2023, Twyla Wrightman, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Twyla will be lovingly remembered by her sons Darren (Inez) and Michael as well as her grandchildren Salem, Liberty, Marissa, Manitou and her fur baby Pillow. Daughter of the late Marvin & Edith (Nahmabin) Wrightman and dear sister of Darlene Williams (the late Fred), Fern ‘Marg’ Wells, Delmer Wrightman (the late Norma) and the late Gloria & Preston Williams, Melva & Woodrow Nahdee and Reginald ‘Carman’ & Jean Wrightman. She is loved and cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially Nanny, Belinda, Anna, Wreathia and Beverly. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Her funeral at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am. Burial in Highbanks Cemetery to follow.
