God called João Martinho Gouveia peacefully on January 21, 2023 at the age of 91. He is now reunited in Heaven with his wife Maria Elvira. Cherished by his dear children Carlos, Ana Paula (José) and Lilio. João was a proud and loving Avô and Bisavô to his grandchildren and to his great grandchildren. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin St. 416-656-3332) on Sunday January 29, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 30, 2023 at A To Be Confirmed Time at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church (402 Westmount Avenue). Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Avenue West).
