Passed away suddenly, at the Hawkesbury General Hospital, On Friday, October 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Jane was born in Whalley, Lancashire, UK. She came to Canada to pursue a nursing career and ended up staying, working first as a VON nurse, then as an administrator at St. Mary’s hospital in Montreal.
Jane was an adventurous traveler, and an active member of the community, participating in golf, bridge and quilting. She lived life to the fullest and will be lovingly remembered and missed by all those who knew her.
As per Jane’s wishes, no funeral will be held. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, ON (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
