SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Eric Richard, 80, passed away
peacefully at the Miramichi Hospital on Thursday, January
19th, 2023. Born in Saint-Charles, he was the
son of the late Luc and Léontine (Richard)
Richard.
Eric leaves to mourn his son, Gerry of Aldouane, as well as
his ex-wife, Izella Thériault of Aldouane.
Eric will also be sadly missed by his seven sisters, Angeline
Daigle (Joseph) of Quebec, Germaine Bourque (Aurèle) of
Leominster, Massachusetts, Sr. Rose Richard (f.m.a.) of Campbellton,
Jeannine McDonagh (late Brian) of Ontario, Marguerite Boucher (Hector)
of Saint-Charles, Julia Maillet (Rosimond) of Saint-Charles and Yvonne
LeBlanc (Jean) of Saint-Charles; his two brothers, Jean-Pierre Richard
(Cécile Johnson) of Shediac and Camille Richard (Julia
Bastarache) of Moncton; his sister-in-law, Yvonne Thibodeau (late
Normand) of Rexton; as well as by his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Eric was predeceased by his brother,
Normand; as well as by his sister, Jeanne and brother,
Régis, who both passed in infancy.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto,
Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 from 9:00 am until
departure for the funeral. The funeral mass will be celebrated
Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 at 11:00 am,
Saint-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Charles.
The family requests that no
flowers be given. Instead, if desired, donations in
Eric’s memory may be made to a mental health charity. Much
gratitude for everything!
