IMRIE, Dianne (née Keenan) – Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 16, 2023. Dianne at the age of 77, was the beloved wife of George Imrie for 53 years. Loving Mom to Todd (Cyndi). Cherished Gramma to Jace, and Ryker. Predeceased by her mother Margaret Keenan, and her sister Susie Krugel. She is survived by siblings, Donna Morgan (the late Lorne), Harold Keenan, Judy Hood (the late Ron), and Lauri Mallette (Gerry). She will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Dianne spent her years caring for others at the Ross Memorial Hospital in the pediatric ward. In her retirement, Dianne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, at the arena watching hockey yelling ‘SKATE!’ and being involved at St. Mary’s Church with the Catholic Women’s League and volunteering with Children’s Literacy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 41 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00am. If desired, a memorial donation may be made to the JumpStart Canada, or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff and Dr. Francis of the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion.
