Obituary
Florence passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Monday, January 16, 2023. Born on November 18, 1963 in Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland, Florence Ann Wright (née Collier) of Owen Sound, was in her 60th year.
Dearly loved and devoted wife of Ryan Wright. Loving mother of Derek Wright (Nika) and Nicole Kato (Manny). Proud nana of Kassandra, Aeryn and Hannah. Dear sister of Leanor Smith (George), Carolyn Watson (Rick), Marilyn Harrison (Dave Moyer), Wayne Collier (Danette), Irene Robinson (Bill), Sandra Osborne (Steve), Betty Muzzell (Bill), Tracy Ma (Austin) and sister-in-law of Debbie Gillen (Doug) and Darron Wright (Fran). Florence will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rita Collier, her sister Mary Collier, her in-laws, Jack and Carol Wright.
She was a great witness for Jesus Christ and is now home with her Saviour and reunited with loved ones who’ve gone before her. Glory to God!
A Funeral Service for Florence Wright will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Chris Krejlgaard officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chapman House Hospice would be appreciated.
