It is with deep sorrow that the family of Shirley Farber announces her passing on Wednesday October 4, 2023. Devoted wife of the late Abe Farber. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Renee and the late Avie Rapoport, Jeffrey and Barbara Farber, Paul Farber, and Maura Tarlin. Adoring Bubby of Melissa and Danny Berlin, Sam and Rebecca Rapoport; Melanie Farber and Minh Tran, Allison Farber and Dean Goldberg, Brandon Farber and Inna Kudrevitzky; Edward, and Jacob Farber. Very proud «Bubby Shirley» of Ethan, Rachel, Ava, and Joshua Berlin; Jordy and Tobin Rapoport; Kayla and Abigail Farber-Tran; Eli and Jonah Goldberg, Tali and Ari Farber. Sister-in-law of the late Ida and the late Sydney Grossner. Shirley’s absence is already keenly felt by her loving family and close circle of friends who will forever cherish the memories of her love, devotion, and zest for life. Heartfelt gratitude to the staff of 4A at the Jewish Eldercare, Hope Pavilion, for their dedication and tireless care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday October 9, at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Israel and Samuel Section, De la Savane. The family will be receiving visitors at the Marriott Courtyard Decarie following the service.
