It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Doug Klarenbach (Cousins) at 64 years of age in Sherwood Park, on September 7th, 2023.
Doug was born in Saskatoon, SK on November 25th, 1958. He moved to Sherwood Park in 1971. Doug was a caring son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, nephew, co-worker, and friend. He was quiet, yet fiercely protective of his family, especially when it came to his sisters’ potential suitors. He loved the outdoors, golfing, hunting, and passing on those (and many more) skills to his nephews. He was always willing to help anyone, and his landscaping and carpentry skills were utilized and appreciated by many.
Doug is survived by his mother, Gloria, and his siblings, Pam (Gary) Pilz, Karen Wells, Darilynne Klarenbach (John), Darci Klarenbach (son Ashton), Lori Klarenbach (Dale), and Dustin Klarenbach, along with Carmen Toker (best friend), many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and youngest brother, Joel.
