The Léger family is saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Eva Léger, nee Ranger of St. Isidore, Ontario, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the age of 106. Beloved wife of the late Rolland Léger. Daughter of the late Joseph Ranger and the late Emiliana Lanthier. Dear mother of Maurice (Huguette Lafrance), Martial (Lucienne Paquette) and Francine (Bill Nash). Grandmother of Sylvain (Tammy Mitchell), Chantal (Martin Lavigne) and Josée (Yves de Repentigny) and great-grandmother of Michael, Jacob and Benjamin Léger, Florence and Vincent Lavigne, Corinne and Clara de Repentigny. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Noëlla Parent-Carrière (spouse by first marriage of the late Ernest Parent and by second marriage of the late Eugène Carrière), Yvette (late Arthur Wathier), Annette (late Harold Lefebvre), Hervé (late Carmen Charlebois), Léon, Carmelle (Bruno Charbonneau) and Rolland (late Gertrude Lefebvre).
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 3 p.m. at St. Isidore Church, St. Isidore. The family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to meet them at the church before the funeral from 2 p.m.
A special thank you to the staff of the Villa St. Luc, Curran, Ontario, for their dedication and the devoted care provided to our mother.
