In loving Memory of Clemence Owens (nee Methe), 92 years, of Levack, Ontario, who found her cloud and joined her husband Patrick John Owens on September 05, 2023. Clemence will be greatly missed by her children Bernie (Debbie), Rick (Diane), Gerry (Goldie) and Joanne (Krista), as well as her cherished grandchildren Steven, Andrew, Danielle, Melissa, Curtis, Tayler, Alex, Bryan, Danika, and great grandchildren Cameron, Blake, Wells and Chloe. The daughter of the late Alvard and the late Lina (nee Beaulieu) Methe, Clemence grew up in Chelmsford, Ontario with her siblings Yollande Leduc (late Fern), Marie Paul Goudreau (late Jean-Marie), Gerard Methe (late Romance), Claude Methe (Joanne), Fernande Poulin (Marcel), and her late siblings Lionel Methe (late Germaine), Rejeanne Belanger (late Maurice), Estelle Bedard (Paul) and Roma. Known as Clem to nephews, nieces, friends, and extended family, she loved to be surrounded by children, and was adored for her sense of humour, compassion, and her many quilts that she handmade and gifted. The family would like to thank Melissa Leclair and her family. Clem was very grateful for the friendship and support of Melissa which enabled her to stay in her home in Levack as long as possible. The family would also like to thank Health Science North for their ongoing efforts to treat Clemence during the past 5 months, and St. Gabriel Villa in Chelmsford for their care, compassion and support during the short time she stayed there. In keeping with Clemence’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 am, St. Bartholemew’s Church in Levack, Ontario. In lieu of flowers and donations, masses in Clemence’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
