Passed away peacefully at Chapman House – Grey Bruce Hospice on September 1, 2023.
Born in Owen Sound on October 3, 1957, Bonnie Heather Beirnes of Holland Centre, was in her 66th year.
Beloved wife of Ted Beirnes of Holland Centre. Loving mother of Amy & Dave Harrison of Berkeley, Tom Beirnes & Jong-Im Winterbell Lee of Montreal and Andy & Heather Beirnes of Guelph. Cherished grandma of Dyson, Corinne, Oliver & Evelyn. Dear sister of Viola & Bill Cook of Holland Centre, Linda & Mel Woods of Williamsford and Marg & Francis Halliday of Chesley. Predeceased by her parents John & Loretta Armstrong and her brother Angus Armstrong.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday September 7th, from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Heather’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday September 8th, at 1 p.m., with Dr. Randy Benson officiating. For those unable to attend in person, Livestreaming will be available at service time and a recorded version will be posted online. Interment will take place
in Shiloh Cemetery following the service.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House, Latona Presbyterian Church Dornoch, or Owen Sound Hospital Foundation would be
