It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Ross Pitcher of Burin announces his passing. Ross passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday, September 1st, 2023, at the age of 68.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his children, Natasha Nurse (Terry Simmons) and Troy Pitcher (Nicole Clarke); grandchildren, Austin (Julie), Amber, Ryder and Nathaniel; sisters, Colleen Humby (Jim), Darlene Oake (Neil); brothers, Alfred Pitcher (Ann), Winston Pitcher (Agnes); aunt, Goldie Hollett; his nieces and nephews; many staff and residents of the Marystown Retirement Living Centre; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Ross was predeceased by his parents, James and Elizabeth Pitcher.

A Celebration of Life and Funeral Service for Ross will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Burin on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery in Big Salmonier.
In lieu of flowers, in Ross’s memory, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
