It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Franco Marchioni.
Franco passed with his family by his side and we are comforted in the knowledge that he is now reunited in heaven with his loving wife Marisa of 66 years.
Franco was a beloved Husband, Dad, Brother, Nonno, Grand Nonno, Zio and Friend.
He is survived by his Children John (Rhonda predeceased), Pina (Fernando), Sandy (Maria), 8 Grandchildren Claudia (Danny), Tyler (Katie), Joe (Felicia), Deanna (Jordan), Nick, Mike, Francesco (Samantha), Alexandra (Chad) and 6 Great-Grandchildren Matteo, Zoey, Owen, Abigail, Natalia and Sophie. His brother, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends near and far.
We would like to thank the staff at Kinsmen Lodge for their kindness and care.
Visitation to be from 6:30pm – 8pm on Tuesday September 5th, 2023 at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 6th St. New Westminster
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Parish, 17475 59 Ave, Surrey
Entombment at 12:30 pm at Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800 32nd Surrey
Lunch Reception to follow from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Cranley Hall, 2141 Cranley Drive, Surrey
In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Diabetes Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
