It is with broken hearts, the family announces the passing of Luigi Troiani. Born 1934 in Ripa, Fagnano, Italy.
Passed away on August 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Pasquina for 68 years.
Much loved father of Tiziana (John) Salvatore and Liana Cian (Jim).
Loving Nonno of Dayna (Robert), Johncarlo (Charmaine), Tina (Kyle), Christina (Jacob), Erica (Paul), Alessia (Dante). Bisnonno to Marcus, Dante, Leah, Carla, Salvatore, Stefan, Julian, Joshua and anxiously awaiting Baby Corrent and Baby Pannunzio.
Predeceased by his parents Biaggio & Gelsomina.
Luigi will be sadly missed by many family and friends.
He was devoted to his wife, and lived for his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it and had a work ethic that was comparable to none. He was most proud about his garden, his wine and the family get-togethers.
Luigi will be remembered for his lack of “filter” and had us laughing right to the very end.
Donations to the Transition to Betterness would be appreciated.
Visiting Friday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with a family tribute at 7:30 pm and parish prayers.
On Saturday, August 26, 2023, family and friends are invited to meet at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor 519-969-5841 by 9:30 am am for procession to Corpus Christi Church in time for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
