It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Frances Elizabeth Moores of Rushoon announces her passing. Frances passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the age of 72.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her children, Roxanne Daley (Jim) of Rushoon, Gordon Moores (Arlene Dominaux) of Rushoon, Wanda Lee Moores of Stephenville, Clifford Moores (Dawn Beck) of St. Lawrence; 6 grandchildren, Clayton, Brandon, Jesse (Jonathan), Ashley, Peter (Zakia), Jimmy; sisters, Clara Moores (David) of Long Cove, Kathleen Hopkins (Peter) of Green’s Harbour, Irene Piercey (Shawn Power) of Norman’s Cove; brother Clifford Piercey (Bonnie) of Bonne Bay Pond; sisters-in-law, Rosie Feltham of Fort McMurray; brothers and sisters-in-law of husband Peter’s family; special niece Irene; many nieces and nephews; homecare workers, Monica Smith and Arlene Dominaux; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Peter; parents, Arthur & Margaret Piercey; parents-in-law, Peter & Irene Moores; sisters, Ivy Piercey, Eleanor Piercey; brothers, Lindsay Piercey, Leo Piercey; many brothers and sisters-in-law.
The Moores Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home (20-22 Creston Blvd, Marystown) on:
Thursday, August 24th, 2023 from
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
A Chapel Funeral Service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Christ The King Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rushoon.
