It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wayne Caravan of Tillsonburg on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by his first wife Susan (nee MacDonald) (1995). Very loving husband to Diana (nee Abram). Loving father to Amanda (Julie); Kelli (Alan); Amy; Ashley (Mike); Jonathan (Maggie) and Melinda (Stephen). Proud Poppy to Alastair; Emory; Adam; Zach; Gavin; Aiden and Kneely. Beloved brother to Bill (Patricia); Bob (Barb); Grace (Wade); Charlie (Paul); the late John (Diane); the late Barbara; the late Carol (Pat); the late Judy (Ken). Wayne will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Mildred.
Wayne was happiest puttering around, making lists, being with family, amongst friends, at the trailer, pushing his grandchildren on the swing, hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held. Donations in memory of Wayne can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and can be done online directly with the charity or via cheque payable to the Heart and Stroke Foundation by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519) 842-5221.
