It is with great sadness and sorrow to announce the passing of Raymond Cooney on July 28, 2023. Raymond leaves behind a lovely daughter Autumn and loving, devoted partner Keri, her son Taylor and Raymond’s father Cameron Cooney. Raymond was taken from all, far to soon. He was a man of few words but he had a heart that shined like the sunlight, he loved his partner and family very deeply. Raymond loved music. On boring rainy days or nights he and Keri could be found listening and watching music videos endlessly to pass the time when they couldn’t be outside working or enjoying nature. Raymond also loved the fall deer hunt. As fall approached each year, he would talk of the days he hunted with all his family on his grandfather’s farm when he was young. Later Keri and Ray hunted together on their property where they shot their first buck together. Raymond also loved the woods and ATVing. If he wasn’t out cutting firewood, he enjoyed long ATV rides through the forest with his father Cameron and later with Keri and her son. Raymond was a true woodsman. Although he is no longer with us, we can all rest assured that when the wind blows through the trees and the snow falls in the moonlight; he is there watching over us all. “Love you forever and always Babe”
