Maria came to Canada in 1957 and found her loving husband Sandor in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
Later she had her son Alex and daughter Kathy in 1958 and 1960 before moving to Invermere where her children grew up, with her daughter Maria from Hungary arriving in 1965.
Maria was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed many crafts and gardening, and was always and amazing hostess and very social. Maria will always be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Maria was predeceased by her husband Sandor Egresits and great-grandson Kaiden Finley.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Roberton, son Alex Egresits (Dawne) and daughter Kathy (Don) Allenby.
