MacLeod, Florence Mae (nee Jardine)- June 22, 1930-July 27, 2023
With family by her side, Flo passed away in her 94th year. She was born on June 22, 1930 to Robert and Lillian Jardine in Niagara Falls, New York.
Flo worked at the M & T Bank in Niagara Falls, New York before moving to Niagara Falls, ON, where she met her husband, Malcolm MacLeod. They were married for 46 years until sadly, Mac passed away in 2001.
Flo is survived by her three children, Robert MacLeod (Tracy), Karen MacLeod (Bruce) and Mary Simons (Scott). Loving grandmother of Colleen Simons (Kyle) and Steven Simons (Meghan).
After raising their family, Flo began work at Christine’s China on River Road, while also volunteering her time with St. John the Evangelist Church Ladies Auxiliary, and the Greater Niagara General Hospital Auxiliary.
The Blue Jays will sadly miss their greatest Fan and Supporter!
We wish to thank the staff of Chapel Heights, where Flo resided, for their exceptional care and more importantly, for the compassion they have shown us throughout her time there.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Flo’s life will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Old St. John’s Stamford Heritage Association or to St. John the Evangelist Church.
