LUCIBELLO, Margherita (Anastasio)
Passed away peacefully, with her son by her side on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Lanark Heights long term Care, Kitchener. Margherita was born 86 years ago in Amalfi, Italy. Margherita was a long time resident of New Hamburg.
Cherished mother of Ferdinando (Fred) Lucibello (Predeceased) and Salvatore (Sam) Lucibello. Dearly loved Nonna of Andrew Lucibello and Kristen Lucibello (Troy Larkin). Margherita will be forever missed and dearly remembered by her daughter-in-law Debbie Lucibello and niece Teresa and her husband Mario Avitabile.
Predeceased and now reunited with her beloved husband Giuseppe Lucibello who predeceased her March 3, 2021, by her parents and by her many siblings and inlaws.
Margherita was a hardworking woman, who put all others before herself. She was a kind natured simple woman who loved her neighbours, friends, and family. She enjoyed to host, her good food was shared by many and if you stopped by to say hello you were often told to stay for a coffee or even dinner.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 7 – 9 p.m. Parish prayers will be shared at 8:45. A Mass of Catholic burial will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Father Robert Love to officiate. Following the interment all are welcome to the funeral home basement for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society and can be made through the funeral home.
