Woodhouse, Kenneth – Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the age of 65. Cherished and dearly loved father of Christine (Matt) and Mike (Chelena). Ken will be deeply missed by his best friend Sharon (Joe). Dear Grandpa to Johanna and Xavier. Ken was the dear brother to Larry (Wendy), Bill (Linda), Lynne (Bruce) and predeceased by his brother, Dave and sister, Lee (survived by Gerry). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews; Lorne (Katrina), Melinda (Jonattan), Luke, Michelle, Brittany (Cameron), Shane (Kristin), Shari and Doug (Chantale). As well as many great-nieces, great-nephews and his extended family Kami (Kevin) and Kenny (Christy).
Ken was active member and mentor for many through Alcoholics Anonymous Association, recently receiving his 38 years medallion presented by his dear friend Pete W. He loved to fish, camp, putter around, doing home renovations and go on tours in the car or the ATV. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and his sense of humour will live on in the hearts of those who loved him for many years.
Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Tuesday, July 11th from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm, and on Wednesday, July 12th at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Little Britain United Church Cemetery. In honouring Ken’s wishes, a memorial donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
