It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Charles James Bungay of Bay L’Argent announce his passing at The Burin Peninsula Health care centre on July 3rd,2023. Leaving to morn with 59 years of beautiful memories his loving wife Lillian (Sheppard); his sons, Craig (Gladys), Darrell (Denise) and Norman (Heather); grandchildren, Jenessa, Brittney, Cody and Evan; his fur grandbabies, Chip, Loki and Baylor; special nephews, Charlie Barnes (Marcie) and Clarence Stewart (Josie); brother-in-law Alexander Sheppard and sisters-in-law, Verna Bungay, Tilley Sheppard and Marjorie Bungay; plus a large circle of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Sarah Bungay; brothers, Max and Norman; sisters Lydia, Alice, Rhoda, Sylvia, Frances and Emma; parents-in-law Alexander and Mary Ann Sheppard; and brother-in-law James Sheppard.
The family would like to thank the nurses for there great care to make his last days comfortable. Special thanks to his workers Daphnie Banfield and Nichole Grandy for making his days at home as comfortable as possible.
In keeping with James’ wishes, cremation has taken place.
Donations can be made in his memory to St. Hilda’s Anglican Church, Bay L’Argent.
