Obituary
Atwood (Smith), Jacqueline Susan- 52, It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jackie, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Roseway hospital, with her husband by her side. Jackie was born in Yarmouth, on May 27, 1971. She was the daughter of Bonnie Shand and the late Fernwood Smith. She was a dearly loved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, niece and friend. Angus was the love of her life and was always by her side. They enjoyed the simple things in life and just being together. Family was first with Jackie. Her boys were her top priority. Her grandsons were her absolute pride and joy. She enjoyed watching them grow and learning new things. They loved their «Gram». She enjoyed every minute spent with them. They were the light of her life. She took great pride in maintaining an immaculate home. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, listening and watching the birds in her backyard, spending time at the beach. Jackie looked forward to her trips south, each year, in March. She was a huge Johnny Cash fan. In her younger years she enjoyed playing ball and curling. Her smile lit up every room she walked into. She was the life of a party. Her positive attitude in life was amazing, right up to the end. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Jackie always took pride in her work at BMHS, Dan’s Ice Cream Shoppe, Dan’s Bargain Centre, Pharmasave, and FRA. She was a people person and Customer Service was her passion. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.
