1935-2023
It is with heavy heart that the family of
Doreen Cormier announce her peaceful passing at the age of 88 on June
5th, 2023, at the Loch Lomond Village in Saint John, NB. Born on
February 16th, 1935, in Kent Junction, she was the daughter of the
late Joe and Elise (Chevarie) Richard.
Doreen
is survived by her beloved husband Leo Cormier of 69 years, brother
Lionel (Peggy), her children Deloris (Karl), Doris (Dale), Peter
(Debbie), Linda (Ivan); her grandchildren: Shawntina (Jamie), Sandie
(Darren), Natasha (Brad), Shawn (Faye), Amanda (Craig), Sarah (Jon),
Matthew (Jeff), Marc (Kyla), Janelle (Elleas), Kyle and MacKenzie; her
great grandchildren, Jacob, Briauna (Trayce), Katie (Brayden), Olivia,
Gabrielle, Garrick, Brooklynn, Grace, Halen, Layla, Elis and Simon and
one great-great granddaughter Lily Rose.
Doreen was an active parishioner of the Saint-Francois-de-Sale
Church in Rogersville, NB.
Her past time passions were
painting, knitting, bowling, darts, teaching clogging, bingo, camping
in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and line dancing. Doreen treasured her time
spent with her loved ones.
Visitations will be
held on Monday, June 26th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Funeral Home
La Colombe in Rogersville, NB. Funeral service will be held at 11:00
am on Tuesday, June 27th at Saint-Francois-de-Sale Church at 11111,
rue principale in Rogersville, NB.
In Lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of
Canada.
There will be a refreshment at the Club
d’age d’or in Rogersville after the
ceremony.
