It is with sadness that we share the sudden passing of Doris Marie Schwantz (nee Rieck) on Saturday June 3rd 2023. Doris passed surrounded by her family at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Doris joins her parents Norman and Eliza (Cober) Rieck, her husband of 36 years Robert Schwantz, and her sisters Mildred (Bob) Pinder and Beatrice (Bob) Saddler. Doris is survived by her two loving sons Tim (Sherry) and Brad, granddaughter Kate (Sean) Wiens, great-grandson Braeden, and sisters Norma (the late Jack) Connell and Shirley (the late Glen) Engel.
A private burial will be held this week at the New Hope Cemetery. A drop-in Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17th from 1-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 272 in Hespeler.
