Maureen Joyce Anderson passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023. Age 79 years.
Beloved wife of Larry for 58 years. Loving mother of Susan Anderson; Janet Anderson (Cory); and Laura Brown (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Devin, Sophie, and Bella. Loving daughter of the late John (Jack) and Delilah (Lila) Millard. Dear sister of Dave and his wife Joan Millard. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephew (the late David), other relatives, and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Maureen’s Life will take place at the Charles W. Stockey Centre, 2 Bay Street, Parry Sound, on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 from 12:00 – 4:00 P.M.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Dear Larry, Susan, Janet, Laura and all of your beautiful family, no words can tell you how sorry I am for your loss and heartbreak. Maureen was one of the most beautiful people I have had the privilege of knowing and being able to call friend. I worked with Maureen at the old Oakville hospital many years ago. We made and celebrated wonderful memories during our time together there. Lots of laughter, but also love and support for each other through the sad and difficult times at the hospital. We worked on a very busy unit and Maureen was my lifeline. She has made a difference in so many peoples lives. Maureen’s love for Larry and her girls shone from her heart. They have always been her pride and joy. To say that Maureen has been loved is an understatement. She has been cherished by her family and friends.
