Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Barbara of 15 years. Loving Dad of Jamie, Terry, Ryan, Jennifer and husband Bob. Bonus Father to Sara, Barry, and Andreina. Adoring Poppy and Grandpa of Kory, Tabatha, Summer, Kendra, Hayden, Russell, Chelsea, Sydney, Kasey, Lily-Anne, Josh and wife Samantha, Emily, Taylor, Avery, Ivy, and Eleanor and Great-grandfather to many more. Will be missed by extended family and friends. When Richard wasn’t piloting a plane, navigating a boat, or travelling. Other hobbies included golfing, bowling, hockey, woodworking, hunting, and going to the casino. Relatives and friends are invited to attend at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Richard to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated.
