Peacefully, at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Richard Butcher, age 63 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of the late Carol Evelyn (Parks) Butcher (March 16, 2023). Loving father of Alicia (Kyle) and Eric (Cilene). Son of the late Sydney Allen and Violet (Carlise) Butcher. Loving brother to Pat (Bill Boyle), Peggy (Gene Way), Syd Jr. (Sally Blais) Syndy, and Allana (Calvin Hynes). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Richard’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Tuesday, June 06, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for both Richard and Carol will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Bancroft. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
