Obituary of Grace Wood
Wood, Grace of Belmont, passed away at Valleyview Home on Friday, June 2, 2023 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of Alex Wood. Dear mother of Alan Wood(Gerri) of R. R. #5 Aylmer and David Wood(Joanne) of R. R. #1 Belmont. She will be missed by her step-grandchildren Shawn and Ashlyn and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother-in-law George Wood(Carole). Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen Parkins, Dorothy Parkins, Margaret Woodford and brother George Stevenson. Born in Richmond, Ontario on February 25, 1925, daughter of the late George and Kathleen(Bennett) Stevenson. Grace was a member of the Springfield Baptist Ladies Group and the Eastwood Baptist Church in St. Thomas. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment, Mapleton Cemetery.
