HARDMAN, Catherine “Cathy” (nee Crawford)
1931 – 2023
Catherine “Cathy” Grace Hardman (nee: Crawford), late of Regina Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 92 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward “Ted”; her daughter Coby; and her brother Jerry.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth; her children, David (Kim), Elizabeth, Margie (Rudi); and son-in-law, Brian; nine grandchildren, Daygan (Chris), Russell (Amanda), Carol (Taylor), Joanne (Jason), Craig, Colin, Victor (Kayla), Levi, and Mykela; as well as seven great grandchildren; Abigail, Bracken, Hudson, Flynn, Ella, Scarlett, and Blake.
Cathy was born in Winnipeg, MB, on April 13, 1931. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba in 1952. She met her future husband Ted in Uranium City, SK and they married in Wynyard, SK on June 30, 1958. After raising four children, she went back to school and received her Bachelor of Social Work in 1986 and worked in the field until she retired.
She was an avid reader and card player. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing in church choirs. Cathy and Ted enjoyed camping, traveling with their motorhome, and their canoe trips across northern Saskatchewan.
A Memorial Service for Cathy will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
